Person escapes raft before it plunges over Ohiopyle Falls

OHIOPYLE, Pa. — One person was rescued from the Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle after they escaped their raft before it plunged over the falls.

Rescue officials said the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m.

The person did not go over the falls, but the raft did. The individual was being checked by medics for any injuries.
