Petition gathers 450,000 signatures asking Target to stop using plastic bags

A group of Target Corp. customers have collected more than 450,000 petition signatures in an attempt to get the retailer to stop using plastic bags.

Theresa Carter, who says she is a Target customer, gathered the signatures through the website Change.org and plans to deliver them on Thursday to Target’s headquarters in downtown Minneapolis, according to a press release.
