PITTSBURGH — Monday night is going to be an amazing night for sky gazers as the moon will have a little extra flare and size tonight.
The pink full moon should be visible across our entire area with only a few clouds from time to time. The moon is named after the herb, pink moss which blooms fully in the eastern United States during April.
Have you caught a glimpse of the pink supermoon tonight? 🌙 Thankfully, there are very little clouds, and it is still above 50 degrees. Here's a picture one of our forecasters was able to capture at the office: pic.twitter.com/BVPgDbVnQQ

Temperatures should be in the upper 40s and lower 50s as the moon reaches peak.
