PITCAIRN, Pa. — Pitcairn police are cracking down on drivers that speed and fly right through stop signs on Wall Avenue.
"We are talking about 40 to 45, maybe even greater," said Police Chief Scott Farrally.
Neighbors say they've seen cars crash right into each other.
"It gets worse every year," said a resident who lives along the stretch of road.

One woman, the mother of a 2-year-old girl, lives along that busy street. She is so fed up, she records drivers on her cellphone.
“I’m afraid she’s going to get hit,” she said, showing Channel 11 video of “the mailman almost getting hit yesterday by a lady running the stop sign.”
Police are cracking down, pulling out all the stops to slow drivers down.
"There's been state citations issued. Verbals issued," Farrally said. "We are patrolling areas with police, we are doing blitzes with traffic stops, we are putting speed dolly trailers out here."
They also have street cameras, which captured a school bus going right through a stop sign.
Channel 11 set up our own camera in the area, and within minutes we caught two drivers flying right through the same stop sign.
While police crack down, they have a message for people walking in this area.
"Be aware of your surroundings and understand what's going on," Farrally said.
