PITTSBURGH — Faculty and staff from the University of Pittsburgh wrapped up their annual Civic Action Week with a day of tree planting in the South Side on Friday.
The annual Day of Caring, part of Civic Action Week, was spent clearing out areas of the park and plant trees.

Pitt police, students and faculty joined Friends of Southside Park. Pitt students, faculty and staff volunteered around various Pittsburgh community organizations and events during the week.
