🍿Pittsburgh-area AMC Theatres set to reopen Friday

PITTSBURGH — AMC Theatres has resumed operations at 25 locations in Pennsylvania and will reopen 18 additional locations on Friday, including several in the Pittsburgh area.

AMC will restrict capacity at the theaters to 10%, as directed by Pennsylvania state officials. AMC’s safe and clean plan will be enforced at all AMC locations.

Moviegoers can head to one of the theaters to see movies like “Wonder Woman 1984,” “Monster Hunter,” “News of the World” and “The Croods: A New Age,” with more movies coming soon.

Guests wanting to book a private showing for up to 20 friends and family members can do so by going onto their website or by using the AMC Theatres mobile app. Rentals must be made at least one day in advance and are subject to availability at the theatre.

This includes mandatory mask wearing and appropriate social distancing within the auditorium.
