Pittsburgh Police officer makes pit stop at local kids’ lemonade stand

SQUIRREL HILL, Pa. — Talk about some sweet news!

Pittsburgh police posted a photo of an officer stopping at a kids’ lemonade stand on their Facebook page. The photo was taken by a Squirrel Hill resident.

The kids decided to donate all proceeds to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Officer Hunter, who is in the photo, is a recent graduate from the police academy, assigned to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 4.
