PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are searching for a gunman wearing all black and a red ski mask who shot another man at a Carrick gas station.

The victim was shot beside Pump #1 at the BP gas station in the 1900 block of Brownsville Road around 2:45 p.m.

A private vehicle took the victim to the emergency room at UPMC Mercy and dropped him off. The victim is reported to be in stable condition.

Police are investigating. They say the suspect was wearing a red ski mask.

One of the bullets went into a pizza shop nearby, shattering a glass door.

Neighbors were shocked after the incident.

“As I pulled up I thought I ran over 5 hour energy bottles or something and I looked over and I saw something, people running,” Tanner Shaffer said. “There were a few people surrounding a pump and then they scattered.”
