PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have named Matt Canada as the team’s new offensive coordinator.
Canada was the quarterbacks coach in 2020 and, under his guidance, Ben Roethlisberger ranked third in the NFL for both attempts and completions, according to a news release from the Steelers.

Canada had a role as an offensive coordinator at Louisiana State University in 2017.
He replaces Randy Fichtner, whose contract wasn’t renewed after this year’s Steelers’ season.
