Pittsburgh Women’s Center and Shelter offering free seminars for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

PITTSBURGH — The Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh is offering free weekly seminars during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The seminars will focus on gender and racial identity, finances, housing and family health.

Experts said the pandemic has led to an increase in domestic violence.

The virtual webinars will take place Oct. 15, 22 and 29 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
