Police arrested a Carnegie man on Thursday in connection with several South Side bank robberies.
Benjamin Plesset, 43, is charged with four counts of robbery and one count of aggravated assault, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler.

Police say Plesset robbed the Dollar Bank at 17th and Carson streets on Aug. 21, and the First Commonwealth Bank at 25th and Carson streets on Aug. 24 and 30.
The fourth count of robbery is because he robbed two tellers at one bank, Toler said.
