PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police have arrested a man suspected of damaging a vehicle when protests turned violent in downtown Pittsburgh last month.
George Allen, 31, is accused of throwing a cinder block through the window of a Tactical Operations Support truck parked at Washington Place and Fifth Avenue just before 5:15 p.m. on May 30.

Police said that car was occupied by a driver and passenger when Allen allegedly threw the cinder block.

He is facing the following charges: aggravated assault, riot, propulsion of missiles, recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.
Allen is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
