Stobert sped up and eventually crashed through the porch of a home on Danley Street before hitting the garage and stopping, police said.

Stobert exited the vehicle and fled on foot, police said, and they're still looking for him.

No one in the house, including two boys having a sleepover in a first-floor room, was hurt.

The garage was condemned after the SUV was removed.

Channel 11 asked PSP if the pursuit policy was followed, and they said it was.

Police plan to file charges against Stobert, including fleeing and eluding, DUI and resisting arrest.

Stobert has a warrant for receiving stolen property in Lower Burrell and a couple of other warrants out of Pittsburgh.
