Police investigating after child falls from 2nd-story window in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating after a child fell from a second-story window in Pittsburgh’s Morningside neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called just before 3 p.m. to the 1400 block of Jancey Street where they found the 5-year-old boy on the ground. He likely suffered a broken leg, according to police.

Medics transported the boy to the hospital in stable condition.

Police said the child would be examined for other injuries.

It’s not clear what caused the boy to fall.
