That victim has now been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Officer as Mahlik Cash, of McKeesport.
The section of Spring Avenue is no longer usable, according to police, and has been blocked to vehicle traffic for about seven years.

Police are still investigating, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. A preliminary examination indicated that Cash was shot in the head at close range.
