PITTSBURGH — Police are looking for a man after a barricaded suspect was not found inside a house following a nearly 2-hour SWAT incident on Saturday night in the Beltzhoover neighborhood.
Pittsburgh police said the incident occurred in the 100 block of Freeland Street at approximately 9:55 p.m.
Police responded to a domestic assault incident, and a woman was found with injuries to her face. She was treated by medics.
Police said it was believed that the man had then barricaded himself in the home. SWAT responded and after nearly 2 hours, it was determined that the house was empty.
The investigation is ongoing.
