Police identify person caught on camera painting bat symbol in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police’s graffiti squad said multiple tips and assistance from the public helped identify a person captured on camera painting graffiti in the area of PPG Paints Arena.

The name of the suspect was not released.

The person is seen painting a bat symbol along with the word “beyond” above it.

UPDATE: The Graffiti Squad received multiple tips and assistance from the public and the media is no longer needed to identify this individual.
