Police need help in identifying truck in fatal pedestrian accident

BLACKLICK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help in identifying a pickup truck in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Cambria County from July.

Investigators say the Jacob Hale was found laying on Cardiff Road in Blacklick Township just before midnight on July 4, when a vehicle driving south hit Hale, killing him.  Police believe the suspect’s vehicle was a new model, white SUV.

Police previously released surveillance pictures of that vehicle.

Tuesday afternoon police released a surveillance picture of a dark-colored, single-cab pickup truck.
