PITTSBURGH — A driver fled after hitting a Port Authority of Allegheny County bus with a dozen people on board Friday morning in Pittsburgh’s North Side, officials said.
The side of the bus was hit shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Pressley Street by an SUV that was coming off a side street, a Port Authority spokesperson said.

Police located the SUV that took off after hitting the bus, but they are still searching for the driver.
The driver of the bus was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital with minor injuries, the spokesperson said.
No one else was hurt.
