Police trying to identify 3 more people involved in violent downtown Pittsburgh protest

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police has released pictures of three more people they’re working to identify following violent protests in downtown Pittsburgh on May 30.

The pictures are of:

  • a woman who defaced the Mario Lemieux statue in front of PPG Paints Arena
  • a looter in a downtown business
  • a man throwing something at police officers downtown

The Damage Assessment and Accountability Taskforce is looking into the events of that day.

Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to contact the taskforce at DAAT@Pittsburghpa.gov, or call (412) 323-7800 and ask for the taskforce. Contributors will remain anonymous.
