Hawkins was wanted for killing 18-year-old Ahmir Tuli in the 2700 block of Penn Avenue on Feb. 21. Investigators said they were called shortly after 9 p.m. for a report of a man shot outside Preeti’s Pit. Tuli was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived at a hospital that night. Police said Hawkins got into an argument inside, was told to leave and then came back, shooting Tuli in the head outside the front door.
