PITTSBURGH — A popular restaurant in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood is closing its doors next week.
Shiloh Grill, located on Shiloh Street, announced on Facebook Saturday that the restaurant is shutting down after “one more bacon night” on July 28.

“With heavy hearts, today we announce that Shiloh Grill will be closing after one more bacon night, Tuesday, July 28,” the restaurant said on Facebook. “We hope to see you all on the Mount one more time ‘til then, as we’re stocked and swinging Frozen Cosmos, brunch FroMosas, and Cosmos-a-GoGos til the very end. Thank you all for ten wonderful years of patronage, friendship, and memories.”
Shiloh Grill is one of three Harris Grill locations. The other locations, in Shadyside and Downtown, are not affected.
That particular restaurant was not able to come to terms for its lease, which expires at the end of July. Along with what is going on with the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions in Pa., the owner said it is a “good time for us to leave this location.”
The owner said about 30 people work at the Shiloh Grill, and that they have been offered jobs at the other locations.
