PITTSBURGH — A McKeesport man was arrested Wednesday at a Plum hotel.

Jamar Mosby, 44, had initially been wanted for failure to appear in a Family Division case.

Since police started searching for him, he's now been charged with a sexual assault after an incident on Nov. 11, according to police.

The victim claims she and Mosby went out for the night, then came back to her home, where she gave him a place to sleep on the first floor and went up to her bedroom on the second floor.

She woke up to Mosby performing sexual acts on top of her, with her clothes on the floor, according to a news release.

Mosby is charged with rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.

Investigators got information that Mosby was staying with a friend, Terrance Banks, 49, at the Super 8 Motel in Plum Borough on Golden Mile Highway.

Deputies arrested both men in a room there and said they could smell a strong scent of burning marijuana in the room.

They said they also spotted a digital scale and material consistent with packing illegal drugs, all in plain view.

After getting a search warrant, they also said they then found $1,035 in cash, approximately an ounce and a half of alleged crack cocaine, three bricks of suspected heroin labeled "New World," 12 100mg Viagra pills and about 2.5 ounces of marijuana.

Both men are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
