NORTH STRABANE, Pa. — Days after a landslide forced workers to tear down two homes in a Washington County community, residents are getting ready to meet with township officials to get some answers.
Channel 11 has been following problems in the Majestic Hills neighborhood in North Strabane for months.
The meeting was held at the North Strabane Township Building and was packed with concerned residents.
Residents told Channel 11 afterward that plans are in place to keep their families safe after the only road in and out of the neighborhood began to crack.

"I think that we all walked away happy from that meeting," said Nick Sherman, a resident.
Township officials addressed the issue of a massive landslide, which started this summer and just recently caused two homes to be demolished.
"We're going to do some core boring tomorrow and move forward with putting a wall at the side of that hill to stabilize Oakwood, so we have two access points into the development," said Andrew Walz, manager of North Strabane Township. "Our contractor will be out there removing fill inside of the hill and begin to grade that back."
The two homes that were demolished Friday as a result of the landslide will be removed Monday.
"We had some expectations of our developer early on, and we don't think those expectations were met," said Brian Garner, a board member of the Majestic Hills Homeowners Association.
A meeting is scheduled with the developer, Ryan Homes, for Tuesday.
