PITTSBURGH — A rollover crash early Friday morning in Pittsburgh’s Perry South neighborhood might be connected to a carjacking in Mount Oliver, officials said.

The crash was reported about 4:30 a.m. along Perrysville Avenue.

A car was seen flipped onto its roof. A second vehicle, a pickup truck that was heavily damaged, was also towed from the scene. Both vehicles had to be pulled up a hill along Perrysville Avenue.

The car is the vehicle that might be linked to the carjacking.

No one was inside either vehicle when officers got to the scene, police said.

Three teenagers showed up at a Pittsburgh hospital shortly after the crash, and officials said they might have been involved in the crash.
