🐾Ross Township police K-9 Jimy dies unexpectedly

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 4-year-old police K-9 named Jimy died unexpectedly Wednesday after emergency surgery, the Ross Township Police Department said.

Jimy served with the Ross Township Police Department for three years.

“Jimy was a great and valuable member of this department and will be sadly missed,” a Facebook post said.

A private memorial ceremony is being held Thursday morning, after which Jimy will be taken on his “final patrol” through Ross Township.
