MAHONING TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were killed in a head-on crash Wednesday morning on Route 28 in Armstrong County, officials said.
The two vehicles collided around 6 a.m., forcing the closure of Route 28 between Route 1025 in Mahoning Township and Calhoun School Road.
Tyler Zeigler, 26, of Butler and Mark Kirkpatrick, 59, of Summerville were killed when Zeigler's truck crossed the center line and struck Kirkpatrick's.
Police are investigating what could've caused the crash.
