PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh Department of Public Works salt truck slid over a hillside in the city’s South Side Slopes neighborhood Monday morning.

The crash happened in the area of Amanda Street and Proctor Way.
The driver was out salting the streets, came down a hill and was unable to stop.
He ended up going down a stone wall into someone’s yard.
Officials said the driver is OK.
Crews are trying to get the salt truck off of the hillside.
