CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was found Thursday morning after a search that involved ATVs and a drone in Beaver County, officials said.
The 79-year-old woman went missing from her home on Zernich Drive in Center Township, officials said. She had last been in contact with someone around 12 a.m.
A daughter who lives with the woman went to check on her about 3 a.m. and realized she was gone, officials said.

Police and fire crews searched the area on foot, as well as using ATVs and police vehicles. A drone was also used.
An officer found the woman shortly before 7:30 a.m. in a gully.
Center Township police Capt. Jon Hall said it’s estimated the woman was outside for between four and seven hours.
“The officers did a great job, the fire department did a great job, and it just goes to show the inner cooperation between the agencies really worked well for the people of Center Township,” Hall said.
