There have been three threats -- two written and one which circulated Thursday night that led to the decision by the district to close all schools in the district on Friday.
Police believe they did it to get out of school.
Police told Channel 11 the student we saw led out of headquarters in handcuffs was behind Wednesday's threat written on a bathroom wall inside the high school, which
read "explosion 10-17-18."We are not showing her face since she’s underage and not charged as an adult.
The investigation is not over and police expect more arrests.
Police do not believe she acted alone and think other students were involved in a handwritten note found lying on a hallway floor the day before which read “Bomb 541.”
When police and the school district heard “rumors of possible violence” on Thursday, the decision was made to cancel classes throughout the entire district today.
District officials told Channel 11 the decision to cancel school was out “of an abundance of caution.”
