HARMONY, Pa. — Students in grades 7-12 in the Seneca Valley School District are now learning remotely some schools were affected by water issues.
District officials said the Harmony Water Authority reported a loss of water pressure in their system due to a water line break. The intermediate and high schools were impacted by the break, but they were able to complete the school day Thursday. Bottled water was on hand for lunch.
The break was found and is being repaired. However, a boil water advisory was issued until further notice. As a result, district leaders decided to move to remote learning for Friday.
This does not impact elementary students.
