Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for parts of the area

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE 3:28 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.

A few showers or an isolated storm could pop up early Tuesday, but most of the day will be dry.

Clouds will fade through the afternoon, with sunshine and seasonal temperatures settling in.

Humidity levels will gradually drop late day as well, making it much more comfortable.

Isolated showers may move through the area again Wednesday, but widespread rain and severe weather are not expected.
