SEWICKLEY HEIGHTS — A Sewickley Heights mansion has hit the local housing market.

The home is for sale at $4.9 million through Berkshire Hathaway HS.

According to the listing, the Mediterranean Revival home sits on more than 10 private acres on two separately deeded lots, and has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half-baths.

The home also includes a three-story elevator, wine cellar, living room, formal dining room, large open kitchen, seating around around the fireplace, family room, a four-car garage, two office rooms, a billiards room, two powder rooms and a large screened porched that leads to the patio and heated pool and spa. The pool house also includes a full bath, according to the listing.

Our partners at the Trib report that the home was built in 1917. The RedGate Farm has been updated by the current owners, who purchased the property in 1996.

The property was once a summer house where previous owners came to escape the steel mills of Pittsburgh. A woman who lived in the house prior was a master gardener. The flowers that surround the abode are spectacular, especially in the summer, according to an owner.

The house is located at 57 Pink House Lane, Sewickley Heights.
