ALTOONA, Pa. — Sheetz is expanding its free meals to kids program at all of its stores in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company started the Kidz Meal Bagz program at 300 stores and has now expanded the program to all 600 stores and it will be available all day.
With the Kidz Meal Bagz program, kids receive a free turkey sandwich, chips and a drink.
Families can go to any Sheetz location and asked an employee for a meal at the register or through a drive-through.

Meals will be available daily while supplies last.“The response from the launch of this program has been huge,” said Travis Sheetz, President & COO of Sheetz, Inc. “As we expand this program, we are staying connected to our communities to try and understand the need, as meals are available while supplies last on a daily basis.”
The company expects to give away around 80,000 meals a week.
The program will be available for at least the next two weeks.
