PITTSBURGH — Gunshots were fired during a suspected road rage incident in downtown Pittsburgh early Thursday morning, police said.
A man told police he was driving behind a red Chevrolet Impala that was blocking two lanes. When he honked his horn for the car to move and pulled alongside it, he said the passenger fired several shots at his car.
The man was not hurt, but police said his car was struck twice by bullets.
The incident happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Smithfield Street and Fort Pitt Boulevard.
The Impala was last seen turning left onto Smithfield Street, taking off into downtown.
No arrests have been made.
