PITTSBURGH — On and off lake effect snow showers are expected tonight into early Monday morning.
Snow bands will reduce visibility and put down a coating of snow in spots. Watch for slippery roads tonight where road temperatures are below freezing, mainly Pittsburgh, north and east.
Snow accumulation is possible with snow bands tonight north of Pittsburgh and east in the ridges of 1″-2″. Less than 1″ in the Pittsburgh area. South of Pittsburgh little to no snow accumulation.
Lingering lake effect snow showers are possible through lunchtime Monday. The remainder of the day will be cold with an overcast sky.
There is another chance for more snow showers after midnight Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The chill will slowly lift through the week with warmer air on the way for Thursday.
