DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was shot and killed while sleeping in her home in Derry Township and police are working to figure out who is responsible.
Tracy Squib, 52, was found shot to death in her bedroom.

“We’re treating it as a homicide investigation,” said Pennsylvania State Trooper Stephen Limani.
Multiple gunshots were fired outside of the home on Pandora Road around 4 a.m., according to investigators.

″The gunshot came from outside the house, penetrated into the house and struck this woman,” Limani said.
They are still trying to determine if that shot was fired intentionally or if it was a stray bullet.
Three other family members were inside the home at the time Squib was shot.

Troopers called the property where this occurred the “Squib Farm,”because Squib and her husband are Christmas tree farmers.
Those who knew the couple well say their passion brought joy to so many families during the holidays.
Police are now pleading with neighbors and businesses to look at their surveillance video to see if anything seems out of place.
