PITTSBURGH — Students were left stranded Thursday morning along Interstate 279 in Pittsburgh when their school bus experienced an issue.
Officials said 35 students, two teachers and the driver were on board when the bus had to pull onto the Hazlett Street exit.
A Port Authority bus was sent to keep the passengers warm until another school bus could arrive.
It is believed that the school bus initially carrying the students and teachers had a mechanical issue.
