MCKEES ROCK, Pa. — A teenager was shot and killed in Kennedy Township Saturday afternoon.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Jassim Al-Maleky, 18, of McKees Rocks.
Sources told Channel 11 he was a recent graduate of Sto-Rox High School
Allegheny County police said Al-Maleky died at a hospital after being found in a yard by first responders in the 100 block of Kennedy Lane with a gunshot wound.
Police said Al-Maleky went to watch two young men fight on Kennedy Drive. Several other people were also there.

During the fight, someone opened fire into the group of people watching and Al-Maleky was struck, according to police.
"He was just there watching a fight. He wasn't involved in the fight. He was just there. Some coward just pulled out the gun and just shot him without no remorse or nothing," said Al-Maleky's friend Dana Ellman.
Police said he ran to a nearby yard, where paramedics attempted to save him.
"We pratically grew up together. We played football together, soccer together. We hung out at skating. He was just a good kid," Ellman said.
Friends and family gathered for a vigil at Sto-Rox High School for Al-Maleky on Monday.
"Jaseem was a valued member of our community. He was very young, just graduated," said school board president Maura Newell.
"He played sports. He played sports, he graduated and from what I understood, had plans to go to college get a degree and make something of himself," said Superintendent Frank Dalmes.
All of the people present at the time of the fight have been identified.
Channel 11 learned most of the half a dozen young people who were there and witnessed the fight and subsequent shooting have been interviewed by police, but investigators have yet to announce a motive or any suspects in the case.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Allegheny County police tip line at 1-833-255-8477.
