15-year-old boy shot in leg in Stowe

STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A teen boy was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the leg in Stowe Township Tuesday evening.

According to investigators, County 911 was notified of a reported shooting at around 7:24 p.m. in the 600 block of Federal Alley. First responders found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot would to his leg.

The boy was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department are now taking over the investigation.
