Texas Lt. Gov. offers $1 million reward for voter fraud; Fetterman asks for it in Sheetz gift card

PITTSBURGH — Media outlets in Texas are reporting that the state’s Lt. Governor is offering a $1 million reward “to encourage and report those who report voter fraud.”

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman tweeted Tuesday night he’d like the reward money in the form of a Sheetz gift card.

Fetterman’s tweet did, in fact, contain an actual case of voter fraud. A man in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, reportedly tried to apply for an absentee ballot on behalf of his dead mother.

On Thursday morning, Fetterman tweeted, “Your generous reward will go directly to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.”

He also thanked Texas Lt. Governor for “unifying Pennsylvania during this divided time that the Cowboys truly blow.”

The Associated Press and NBC News both projected Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election. President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed there was rampant voter fraud during the election. Little evidence has been found so far to substantiate those claims.
