PITTSBURGH — Tickets for the Broadway musical
[ Hamilton ]
coming to the Benedum Center in January go on sale Monday, Nov. 5 at 9 a.m., and despite the anticipated huge turnout, it won’t be impossible to score a ticket under $200.
You can increase your chances of scoring a ticket for for the show by following these tips from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
The Trust asserts that the most reliable way to purchase tickets is through TrustArts.org.
“It’s tempting to get tickets any way you can,” said “Hamilton” producer Jeffrey Seller. “There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets.”

before Monday or make sure your information is updated.
Join the online waiting room at
before 9 a.m. Your place in the queue will be randomized. After 9 a.m., you will be placed at the end of the queue.

Have three performance dates that you would like to attend in mind in case your first choice is not available. There is a maximum purchase limit of four tickets per account.
Don’t waste time calling the Trust for tickets. You can’t order tickets that way.
There will be some limited tickets available at the Box Office at Theater Square at 655 Penn Avenue on Monday at 9 a.m., but you cannot wait in line before 6 a.m.
The Cultural Trust will also have a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. More details will be released soon.
Director of Communications Robin Elrod said more tickets could become available closer to the performances.
“It depends on how the reaction goes on Monday,” Elrod said.
