Trafford man arrested, accused of peeping into juvenile's window

A Trafford man was arrested for allegedly taking pictures of a juvenile while he peeped into his neighbor’s window.

Court papers show James Snyder is accused of not only staring into a girl’s bedroom window but also taking pictures of her, as she got showered and dressed.

Motion-activated security cameras allegedly captured Snyder staring through a bedroom window, near his home. What’s more disturbing is what Snyder admitted to doing when police confronted him.

According to court documents, Snyder “went to the window of the victim and looked in, hoping to see her naked." He "told officers he had done this several times" and “admitted to going back onto the property two more times."

That was after Snyder was told not to come back onto the property.

He also told police he saw the victim naked the night he was captured on surveillance cameras.

Neighbors in the area didn’t want to go on camera but told me they are appalled and disgusted.

Channel 11 dug into Snyder’s background and found nothing prior to these most recent charges, not even a traffic ticket.

Police got a search warrant to look at all of Snyder’s electronics and storage devices as well as the camera he owns. Snyder told police he doesn’t have anything illicit on his camera.
