PITTSBURGH — The trial for two men accused of killing five adults and an unborn child in Wilkinsburg in 2016 has been rescheduled.
The trial for Cheron Shelton, 29, and Robert Thomas, 27, was set to get underway Monday.
The two men face six counts of criminal homicide and other charges in connection with the shooting

Chanetta Powell, a 25-year-old who was eight months pregnant, and four others -- Jerry Shelton, 35; Tina Shelton, 37; Brittany Powell, 27; and Shada Mahone, 26 -- were all killed in the ambush in the backyard of a home on Franklin Avenue on March 9. Powell's unborn child also died. Cheron Shelton is not related to Jerry or Tina Shelton.
The Allegheny County District Attorney is seeking the death penalty in the case.
A new date has not yet been set.
