Trio charged with breaking into vending machines face felonies because of COVID-19 pandemic

BETHEL PARK, Pa. — Police in Bethel Park arrested three people early Wednesday after police found them lurking near a business.

When officers searched the car they were in, they found burglary tools, drugs, coins and a change box from a vending machine.

Police said Larry Randolph, 39, Jeffery Ledonne, 39, and Angalique Visconti, 27 admitted to working together to break into vending machines in the Pittsburgh area.

The each are facing several charges including theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, according to police. The theft charges are enhanced to a felony grading because the crimes happened during a natural or man-made disaster, such as the COVID-19 outbreak.

The three suspects are in the Allegheny County Jail.
