Tubing opening for season at Boyce Park

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that the Boyce Park Snow Tubing Area will open for the season on Friday, January 14. The 2021-22 season will run through mid-March, weather and conditions permitting.

The lodge will be open this season, including concessions, indoor restrooms, and equipment rental. The upper level will remain closed to the public.

The snow tubing area is open Friday through Sunday. Rates are $17 for county residents and $21 for non-county residents. Snow tubing tickets must be purchased online in advance.

A few additional notes:

  • All participants must be at least 42″ tall; participants between 42″ and 50″ must be linked to an adult while tubing.
  • All persons wishing to snow tube must submit a completed waiver agreement.
  • No season passes will be sold.
