Two arrested after shooting in Pittsburgh that injured woman

PITTSBURGH — Two people were arrested after a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood that critically injured a woman in her early 20′s.

Pittsburgh police said Joshua Devereaux, 31, of Pittsburgh, and Kenneth Marsh III, 33, of McKees Rocks, were arrested in connection to the shooting that occurred on Bidwell Street at Pennsylvania Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Police located the woman with gunshot wounds outside of a vehicle. She was taken to the hospital.

Firefighters also shut off a gas line after a meter was struck by gunfire. Detectives from Major Crimes are investigating.

Devereaux was charged with multiple firearms violations while Marsh was charged with firearms violations, tampering with evidence, fleeing or attempting to elude police, and drug-related offenses.

The investigation is ongoing.
