Two local Pier 1 Imports stores to close

Two local Pier 1 Imports stores will be closing this year.

The stores on McKnight Road in Ross Township and Washington Road in Washington will be among more than 400 closures, Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported.

Court documents filed alongside Pier 1’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and obtained by TribLIVE noted the closures. The company filed for bankruptcy protection on Monday.

It’s unclear when the Ross Township and Washington locations will shut their doors.
