Vehicle crashes into house in Westmoreland Co.

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. — A vehicle crashed into a house in Westmoreland County.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. on Meadowbrook Road in Murrysville.

The female driver was taken away in an ambulance and her condition is unknown.

The force of the crash was so strong that the homeowner, who was upstairs, said the basement door blew open and the door knob blew off.

"We were sitting there watching TV, me and my son, and we heard a big bang. I thought it was a garbage truck, because today was actually garbage day,” said John Poremba, the homeowner.

The building inspector said there was no structural damage.
