One person was killed and another person was injured in an accident in Pine Township involving two tractor-trailers and two pickup trucks.
The crash happened right before 3 p.m. on Gibsonia Road at Karring Drive, police said.

A tractor-trailer hauling logging equipment hit a flatbed truck and then crashed into a pickup truck, killing the driver, 54-year-old Jay D Watts.
The flatbed that was hit lost its piece of heavy equipment, some of it falling into the road, causing another pickup truck to crash.

There are several signs placed along the sharp curve that says the turn should be taken at 25 mph.
Gibsonia Road was closed between Hardt Road and Babcock Boulevard until early Tuesday morning.

North Regional police are investigating.
Officials said the injured person was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
